The sophomore forward scored a goal and added an assist vs. Duquesne (10.29.11). Scored two goals vs. Mercyhurst (2.3.2012). Scored two goals and an assist for a 3 point night vs. Youngstown State (2.4.2012). Scored a goal and an assist vs. Slippery Rock (2.12.12).

(2010-2011 HIGHLIGHTS)
Named Washington & Jefferson College Ice Hockey's Rookie of the Year (2010-11). During his freshman season, Austin scored 10 goals, 9 assists for a total of 19 points during an impressive rookie campaign. Bill made his ACHA DI hockey debut for the Presidents at Slippery Rock (9.17.10). Notched first collegiate point in first game at Slippery Rock (9.17.10) at the Bladerunners Ice Arena in Warrendale, PA. Scored first collegiate ACHA DI goal vs. Slippery Rock at the Iceoplex at Southpointe (10.20.10). Had two assists in 6-2 win vs. Duquesne (10.27.10). Scored two goals vs. Delaware (1.22.11). Had a goal and an assist at Robert Morris University (PA) (2.4.11). Bill recorded his first career hat trick including the game winning goal late in the third period at Duquesne (2.16.11). A freshman, Austin showed his offensive skill scoring 12 points in a 7 game span (1.22.11-2.18.11) at the end of the season.

A native of Salem, MA, Austin played for Pingree of the New England Prep League. Austin scored 8 goals and tallied 10 assists for 18 points during his senior season for Pingree.
