Washington & Jefferson began its hockey program 13 years ago as a member of the WPCHA. W&J then became a member of the ECHL in 2001, ACHA Independent member in 2005, and in 2006 joined the College Hockey Mid-America (CHMA) of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).

Washington & Jefferson is looking for student athletes who want to participate in our exciting and rapidly growing ice hockey program. W&J is focused to establish an even more successful program in the very near future.

The program recently hired new head coach Lou Biancaniello, assistant coach Brian Pajak, goaltending coach Sean Maloney, general manager Jessica Cooper and are looking to lead the team to the CHMA playoffs and the ACHA DI National Tournament.

The Presidents have established one of the most competitive schedules at the ACHA DI level and play against the likes of Penn State, Ohio, Rhode Island, Liberty, Oakland, Duquesne, West Virginia, Robert Morris University, Robert Morris College, Adrian College, & Delaware to name a few.

Washington & Jefferson College Ice Hockey has appeared in 3 ACHA Division I National Tournaments (2004,2005,2007).
