 Assistant Captain. Bean completed his career at Washington & Jefferson with 25 goals and 60 assists for a total of 85 points. Bean completed his career ranked in W&J's top 10 for assists. Dave anchored a solid defensive corps during his senior season for the Presidents and was a major reason for W&J's successful run in winning the 2007-2008 College Hockey Mid-America League Championship. Dave played in 34 games, scored 7 goals, assisted on 10 for 17 points.

 Dave compiled a monster season statistically as the Presidents returned to the ACHA Division I National Tournament. The defenseman was named All-Conference to the College Hockey Mid-America 1st Team (2006-07). Bean posted career high numbers as he played in 40 games, scored 13 goals, and amassing 33 assists for 46 points. Dave scored a goal in W&J's 7-6 victory vs. Robert Morris University at the 2007 Pittsburgh College Hockey Showcase at Mellon Arena (1.5.07).

 Dave played in 34 games for the Presidents during his sophomore season. He was relied upon to step into the lineup and he contributed greatly scoring 4 goals and dishing out 13 assists for 17 total points for the Presidents.
