(2007-2008 HIGHLIGHTS)
Assistant Captain. Frey completed his collegiate hockey career at Washington
& Jefferson with 51 goals and 76 assists for 127 total points. Frey
ranks 7th on W&J's All-Time Career Scoring and All-Time Assists List. Frey scored 12 goals and dished out 26 assists for a 38 point senior season.
Craig scored 5 power play goals for the
Presidents.
Despite suffering a broken foot earlier in the season, Frey returned and
played through the injury to help lead the Presidents en route to the 2007-2008 College
Hockey Mid-America Championship. Frey was named the 2008 CHMA Playoff
Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP). Scored the game clinching empty
net goal for W&J in the 2008 College Hockey Mid-America Championship Game
vs. West Virginia at the Ice Zone in Boardman, OH (2.24.08).
(2006-2007 HIGHLIGHTS)
Frey put up career numbers across the board during his junior season at W&J.
Frey played in all 40 Presidents' games, scored 22 goals, assisted on 35 for
a total of 57 points. Craig scored 10 power play goals for the Presidents
and helped lead the Presidents to the 2007 ACHA Division I National
Tournament. Frey netted a hat trick vs. John Carroll at the Iceoplex
(11.8.06). Scored two goals vs. Delaware at the Iceoplex (10.28.06). Scored
two goals in a 2-1 victory at Pittsburgh at the Harmarville Bladerunners.
(11.3.06). Scored two goals and added an assist vs. Indiana University of PA
(11.11.06). Scored two goals at Robert Morris College (IL) on 1.13.07 at the
Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL. Scored two goals and dished out two
assists for a 4 point night vs. Youngstown State (2.7.07).
(2005-2006 HIGHLIGHTS)
Craig put together a solid sophomore season as he scored 16 goals and tallied 13 assists for a total of 29 points in 33
games played. Craig scored 5 game winning goals while accumulating 128
penalty minutes during his second year with the Presidents' hockey club.
(2004-2005 HIGHLIGHTS)
Craig's freshman season was cut short due to injury. In 10 games played he scored 1 goal and assisted on 2 for a 3 point freshman season.
