of 6-4. It didn't take long for the team's newest addition to make an
impact. Defenseman Brady Yevins (1) scored just 13 seconds into
the game with a nice wrister off a pass from Mario Panucci to
give W&J an early 1-0 lead. Mario Panucci (10) scored for the
Presidents as he batted a puck out of the air off of a rebound to spot
W&J an early lead. Brian Doak continued his consistent play and
scored two goals for the Presidents that forced Pitt to pull starting
goaltender Ed Nusser.
However,
W&J could not hold onto a 4-1 lead as Pitt chipped away to pull within
4-3. Pitt stormed out of the gates in the third period and regained
the lead at 5-4. Pitt would add a late goal for the 6-4 final.
